About Us

Hauora Waikato is a kaupapa Māori organisation which provides secondary level community-based mental health services. We are a free service.

In the Waikato, our signature whakatauki " He piko, te taniwha, he piko, he taniwha" - and its translation "At every bend is a leader". This represents the correlation between people and resources and the ceaseless perpetual connection between the Waikato people and our river.
