Te Aka Whai Ora provides a range of updates, information and advice for the haoura Māori sector and others concerned with improving the health of whānau Māori:

Ākina - Clinical notices and advisories

Ākina means to urge or encourage. Through our collective actions to address specific issues we can contribute to improved health outcomes.

This set of notices call attention to specific clinical issues and urge clinicians to act.

Te Aka Whai Ora Chief Clinical Advisors will review evidence and confirm that the actions are consistent with good clinical practice.

Stakeholder hui

Regular hui are being held for our stakeholders (usually in conjunction with Te Whatu Ora), to help keep you informed and updated as the transformation of our health system progresses. Pātai from attendees is encouraged.
